Synod of bishops of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church
The Synod of Bishops of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, as an ordinary form of the administration of the Eastern Churches, includes the bishops belonging to the same Church sui iuris, who exercise their pastoral service in Ukraine and in various countries of the world ( Poland, the United States of America, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Australia, France and the Benelux countries, Great Britain, Germany, Italy). To date there are 51 bishops-ordinary and titular-who are members of the synod and together with the senior archbishop constitute the highest body of the senior archiepiscopal church. The Synod of Bishops is responsible for issuing laws for the entire Church sui iuris, electing the major archbishop as well as bishops for eparchies and exarchates both within and outside the territory of the Church. Furthermore, in accordance with canon 1062 of the Code of Canon Law of the Eastern Churches (CCCO), the Synod of Bishops is the supreme court of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. Synodal life and work solemnly manifest the principle of episcopal collegiality and the unity of the Church.

- Eparchies - 23 (9 in Ukraine);
- Exarchates - 6 (3 in Ukraine).
