The Bishops' Conference of Scotland
The Bishops' Conference of Scotland is the permanently constituted assembly of the Roman Catholic Bishops of Scotland. To promote its work the Conference establishes a General Secretariat and various agencies, each of which advises the Conference according to its own competence. The members of the Bishops' Conference of Scotland are the Diocesan Bishops.All the diocesan bishops are members of the Conference.
The Bishops' Conference has a number of commissions and agencies that assist it in carrying out its work. There are:

- the Commission for Catholic Education and Scottish Catholic Education Service (SCES)
- the Heritage Commission and Scottish Catholic Archives

- the National Office for the Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults
