The CCEE Plenary Assembly, previewed from the upcoming 25 to 27 September in Prague, is now cancelled due to the deteriorating situation of infection from Covid-19 in the Czech Republic.
During these hours, the daily increase in the number of people infected with Covid-19 is making it increasingly difficult to reach the city of Prague. Many European countries are imposing a quarantine on those who return from the Czech Republic and many airlines are cancelling flights to and from Prague.
Considering the consequent containment measures adopted by the local government and after hearing from the Czech Bishop’s Conference as well as the Archdiocese of Prague, the CCEE Presidency considered it appropriate to cancel the meeting by personal attendance scheduled for 25-27 September 2020 and subsequently to invite all CCEE members to participate in the work of the Plenary in online mode on 25 and 26 September, as per the attached programme.
