Africa-Europe
The history of the European Continent has always been linked to that of the African Continent. CCEE collaborates with representatives of the Church in Africa to achieve greater communion between the bishops of the two continents and to deepen joint responsibility for evangelization on the basis of sacramental communion.
In 2004 and 2012 SECAM and CCEE organized Symposia which saw the participation of a bishop from each European and African nation, and have also collaborated through several seminars with twelve delegates from each continent. Other meetings are already scheduled for the coming years.
Below is a collection of documents, meetings and press releases relating to the meetings between CCEE and SECAM since 2004.
